Arson Fire Set At Southbury Training School Property
The fire was reported Tuesday evening and State Police is investigating.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Connecticut State Police is investigating an arson fire at an abandoned building on the Southbury Training School property on Village Road.
The fire was reported just before 6 p.m. Tuesday and Troop A was notified of a fully involved structure fire of an abandoned building on the Southbury Training School property located on Village Road.
Troop A Troopers and the CT State Police FEIU (Fire and Explosive Investigative Unit) responded to the scene after a school employee saw the glow of the fire. The fire was deemed to be intentionally set and Troop A along with the Fire Marshal’s unit are investigating the case and are looking for anyone with information on this, State Police said.
