Arts Escape Leads Workshop at 'Life, Love & Friendship' Event

Southbury-based Arts Escape will lead a free workshop for seniors age 60+ up at the Jewish Federation's "Life, Love & Friendship" event.

SOUTHBURY, CT -- Get ready for a fun and creative session at the next "Life, Love & Friendship" event, hosted by the Jewish Federation of Western CT. Priscilla Watson, Arts Escape instructor, will lead a hands-on art demonstration for all in attendance using a variety of mediums, including colored pencil and glossy paper.

Arts Escape provides arts, cultural enrichment and educational programs and workshops for adults to prevent social isolation that often accompanies aging and can lead to physical, mental, and emotional deterioration and a decreased quality of life.

This free event is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Western CT and will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Jewish Federation of Western CT, 444 Main St. North, Southbury.
