Author Ann Leary to Headline Book & Author Luncheon at The Watermark
Public invited to attend the 23rd annual Book & Author luncheon benefiting the East Hill Library Fund.

On Wednesday, May 20, The Watermark at East Hill will host its 23rd annual Book & Author Luncheon featuring local author and NPR Hash Hags co-host, Ann Leary. The event will begin at noon at the senior living community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury. The fee to attend the luncheon is $25, with proceeds benefitting The Watermark at East Hill East Hill Library Fund.
A New York Times and national bestselling author, Leary wrote both The Good House and Outtakes from a Marriage, as well as her memoir, An Innocent, A Broad. She has also written both fiction and non-fiction articles for various magazines and is the co-host of the NPR weekly radio show, Hash Hags.
“This event means a great deal to our community, as it benefits the Library Fund, which works to maintain a robust collection of books for our residents.” said Connie Haworth, Executive Director of The Watermark at East Hill. “We are thrilled that Ann could join us as a host; she is a wonderful example of the type of local authors who have helped make this event successful for the last two decades.”

Leary lives locally in a farmhouse in Roxbury with her husband Denis and her two children. When not writing, she competes in equestrian sporting events and is a volunteer EMT.
Space is limited for this event and guests must RSVP by May 6. Receipt of your $25 per person donation will confirm your reservation.
