Black Bear Sightings on the Rise in Southbury: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT — There have been several black bear sightings in Southbury recently, the Republican-American reports. Two recent reports include a bear killing a goat and a bear coming up to a resident's window.

Over the past five months there have been 90 bear sightings in Southbury, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
