Changes Coming To Southbury Plaza Shopping Center: Report

The proposed changes require land-use approval.

SOUTHBURY, CT — It looks like there will be some changes coming to the Southbury Plaza shopping center, reports the Republican-American's Bill Bittar.

The owner of the shopping center wants to reduce the size of the building that currently houses Kmart by removing the garden center but then renovating that area for a new retail space, the Rep-Am reports.

The proposal would include adding 38 more parking spaces. A new turning lane would be added too.
