The Community Service Club of New Fairfield is holding a prom/formal dress sale on March 21, 2015 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm at the New Life United Methodist Church, 1 Beaver Bog Road, New Fairfield.
Over the last several months, the CSC, with the help of One Stop, Pioneer and Superior Cleaners in Danbury and New Fairfield has been collecting prom dresses to sell at our “Pretty for Prom” shopping event on Saturday March 21st. To-date, the Club has collected over 100 gently used dresses.
The Club is very excited to bring the youth of our area a fun and unique prom/formal dress shopping experience that is not only easy on the wallet, but which benefits the local community as well. Proceed from the event will fund CSC projects such as the Kids Dress for Success and Amber Alert programs, as well as scholarships.

In order for the event to be a success, the club needs lots of shoppers to buy those gently used dresses. Taking a new approach to prom dress shopping takes confidence. We are asking parents and students alike to grasp on to that confidence and set aside preconceived notions of where you are supposed to shop for a dress. Who knows - that dream dress may be lurking within our racks!
