Controversial Southbury Apartment Plan Faces Long Odds: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT – It doesn't look good once again for Kevin Bennett's proposal to construct three duplexes featuring two, two-bedroom townhouses in each building at 390 Roxbury Road. The town's Planning Commission is recommending the full board deny the project stating its too dense for the site, the Republican-American reports.

Neighbors have opposed the plans. Bennett said he'll try and address members concerns. Bennett originally sought to construct 14 units but he withdrew that plan and tried in July for six units and that was rejected.
