Coronavirus Southbury: Stop Playing In Big Groups

The town got reports of large groups of youth using parks and basketball courts.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Southbury officials reported no further reports of confirmed coronavirus cases in Southbury, but encouraged people to nonetheless continue social distancing and following proper hygiene.

The town hasn't closed parks or playgrounds, but is encouraging people not to gather in groups of 10 or more and to stay at least six feet away. There have been reports of larger groups of youth using parks and basketball courts.
