Coronavirus Southbury: Town Has 84 Cases

SOUTHBURY, CT — There are 152 lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in the Pomperaug Health District, which encompasses Southbury, Woodbury and Oxford. Nine area residents have died as of April 17.

Southbury has a total of 84 cases; 19 residents of the Southbury Training School have been infected and about 24 cases are at long-term care or assisted living facilities.

Oxford has 47 cases and Woodbury has 21 cases.

Southbury will hold a virtual budget meeting April 20 at 7 p.m. Residents can submit comments using this online form.
