Local Non-Profits Invited to Register
Our town would be quite a different place to live and work without the generosity of volunteers who provide services in many, varied arenas.

In an effort to help organizations that rely on volunteers attract and recruit new members, Southbury will host its Second Annual Volunteer Fair on Saturday, August 29th from 9AM to noon at the Southbury Green at 775 Main Street South.
In case of rain, the Fair will take place at Southbury Community Building (Senior Center/Parks and Rec) at 561 Main Street South.

All local non-profit organizations are invited to participate and take advantage of this event to let the public know about their services as well as to recruit new members and volunteers. This is their chance to put their best foot forward, educate people about their organization and the many volunteer opportunities available within it. There is no fee to participate.
This year we are creating a booklet that will highlight each of the Fair participants, providing a brief description of each organization, a link to their website, and additional information that will be helpful to Fair-goers and serve as a future reference for them.
The following link connects to a fillable registration form with more details and areas available to provide information for the booklet: www.southbury-ct.org/vfregistration.
All interested organizations should register for the Volunteer Fair by July 31st. For more information, contact Carol Hubert at 203-262-0647 or select2@southbury-ct.gov.
We look forward to another successful Volunteer Fair.
