Driver Points Handgun at Other Driver in Waterbury
The public's help is sought in identifying the suspect from an alleged road rage incident, according to Southbury Troop A officers.

The morning commute can be tough. In the early morning hours of Thursday, Sept. 10, Southbury’s Troop A received a road rage complaint from a driver who said a handgun was pointed at them around 6:30 a.m.
The alleged road rage incident occurred on I-84 eastbound near exit 23 in Waterbury.
“The complainant, driving an orange/black Ford F-350, stated the offending operator became angry and pointed a handgun at him,” state police said.

The handgun was described as having a silver slide and a black frame. The complainant described the vehicle as being a late 90s to early 2000 tan Chevrolet SUV, possibly a Tahoe or a Blazer.
The first three numbers of the CT Registration plate, “281,” were observed.

“The offending operator was described as a Hispanic male with a thin build, approximately 25-30 years old, with short black hair and some facial hair,” according to police.
