Celebrating over 50 years of fairs, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, will hold its annual Apple Festival on the Historic Monroe Green, Rt. 111, Sat. Sept. 10 from 10- 5, and Sun. Sept. 11 from 10 - 4. (We will hold our Sunday service at 9 AM on the Green - the Church bells will be rung to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11.)
60+ Crafters, Country Kitchen with apple & other fruit pies and tarts, jams, cookie walk and baked goods; hardy mum and aster plants; Extensive Snack Bar with Apple Crisp a la mode and Apple Friets. Apple Central offering fresh apples, cider, caramel apples, and apple related items, Children will enjoy 2 Moonbounces, face painting, games/prizes. Raffle tickets will be available on the Green for a chance to win a handmade Quilt; a Weekend getaway at a home on Cape Cod; and an Apple iTouch. Music on Saturday will be provided by City South Steel Drum Orchestra.
