The Southbury Land Trust will host a rededication of Platt Farm at the parking area on Flood Bridge Road at 1:30 p.m. The 10 year anniversary of Platt Farm's inclusion in the Land Trust will be celebrated with a new kiosk, bench and plaque.
Beverages and snacks will be served prior to the hiking. The first hike will be 3 miles including uplands, fields, the Pomperaug river front and more. The second hike will be half the distance. Boots are recommended.
