The Watermark at East Hill Hosts Beer Tasting Dinner and Lecture Featuring “Beer Snob”

Southbury, CT – January 31, 2011 – On Thursday, February 10, The Watermark at East Hill will host Republican-American columnist and beer expert, Will Siss, for a beer tasting dinner and lecture.  The special event is part of The Watermark’s monthly “Happy Hour for Adult Children” series, which is geared towards the children of seniors wishing to learn more about retirement options for their parents.  The beer tasting dinner will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Southbury retirement community.

Siss’s column, “Beer Snob,” has appeared every two weeks in the Republican-American on Wednesdays since March 2006. He writes about beer and beer culture, often with a humorous slant. He’s also led discussions about beer at restaurants and taught an adult education class on the topic.
