Try the sport of field hockey!             
Saturday, September 22, 2-5 pm
Pomperaug High
School, 234 Judd Road, Southbury, CT


Ages 7-14, boys and girls, are welcome at Pomperaug High School to try field hockey with the PHS field hockey team.  No prior playing experience is necessary.  Trial sticks will be provided to those who do not have equipment.  Shin guards, mouth guards and filled water bottles are required. Participants are asked to bring a reversible pinnie
(scrimmage vest) and a stick if they have these items.

We are asking participants for a $10 donation to support the field hockey team.

The program is part of the Fundamental Field Hockey Program -- a youth development initiative to expose the sport to thousands of children nationwide by providing free equipment and emphasizing fun physical activity! 2:00 – 2:20pm        Registration (the turf stadium)
2:20 – 2:40pm        Exposition game - PHS players
2:40 – 3:00pm        Participants warm-up
3:00 – 4:00pm        Skills Stations
4:00 – 4:30pm        Games
4:30 – 4:45pm        Cool Down
4:45 – 5:00pm        Pick-up of participants
