Eversource Helicopter Inspections In Southbury This Week

SOUTHBURY, CT — Eversource Engineering has contracted with a helicopter company to fly over all Eversource transmission lines over the next 3 years for engineering analysis purposes. They will be flying each service territory in sections (western, central, and eastern), with repeats of areas in the coming years.

The flights of Western Connecticut transmission lines (which includes Southbury), is planned to take place between April 20th through April 23th (including Saturdays and Sundays). The helicopter will be flying at 1,400 feet and moving quickly across the lines, resulting in as minimal impact to nearby property owners as possible.
