Famous Sand Artist, Joe Castillo, is coming to Sacred Heart

Southbury, Connecticut – G.I.F.T. (Growing in Faith Together) starts in September with a special presentation by Joe Castillo, an America’s Got Talent finalist and TEDx presenter. Joe Castillo will depict the beloved scripture stories of Jesus through his captivating sand art. His inspirational stories will be a kick-off for the year’s theme, “Jesus Calling”. Throughout the year, the group will study how to recognize and respond to the unique ways God calls us in our lives.

The Faith Formation office at Sacred Heart Church invites anyone who would like to participate in the G.I.F.T. program and attend the Joe Castillo presentation to inquire for registration. Ages 6 – 106 can participate in this innovative program that allows participants to learn and grow in faith together as they share their individual experiences within the faith community.

This inter-generational program is designed to accommodate participants in both whole group and age group formats. So whether you are looking to enroll your child or you are an adult that would like to learn more about living out your faith, you will experience an interactive formational environment that fosters conversation about faith experiences.

Adults, college students, teenagers, children, couples and grandparents are invited to join us for the next G.I.F.T. session as we grow in faith together. The G.I.F.T. program is also designed to accommodate celebrating the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation for children, teens and adults.
