The temperature will be mostly in the 40s this week, dipping up into the 50s near the end of the week. Tuesday will be the only exception, with a high of 25 deg. Nighttime lows remain below freezing. Forecasts are mostly cloudy, with a 30 percent chance of rain on Friday.

- Tuesday, the IT Steering Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at Town Hall room 106. The Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. at Town Hall room 205.
- Thursday, the Board of Selectmen will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall room 205. The Elderly Services Commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Senior Center Conference Room at the Department of Senior Services. The Committee to Study Teen Survey will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Town Hall Room 208.

- Boys Basketball will play Newtown, Tuesday at 7 p.m., home. Friday, they will play Joel Barlow at home at 7 p.m.
- Girls Basketball will play Newtown, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Newtown. Wednesday they will play Joel Barlow at 7 p.m. at Joel Barlow.
- Hockey will play New Milford at South Kent at 8 p.m., Monday. Wednesday they will play Masuk at home at 7:30 p.m., Thursday they will play Newington-Berlin at home at 8 p.m.. Friday they will play Amity at home at 7:45 p.m.
- Indoor Track has the CIAC Open Championship Saturday at 12 p.m. at the New Haven Athletic Center.
- Wrestling has a CIAC Class L Championship Friday at Bristol Eastern High School at 4:30 p.m.
