Free Concert in Southbury Tuesday, July 7

The Gatehouse Café concert will feature “Surcari “ on July 7, 2015 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

Lorena Garay is an award-winning guitarist from Puerto Rico who performs in a wide range of styles. She has performed as a soloist, bandleader, and sidewoman throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Her guitar arrangements and passionate playing style beautifully blend the classical influence with her Latin sound. Lorena and her band, “Surcari”, are Arts for Learning Connecticut Artists who offer multicultural performances throughout the region.

The Gatehouse concerts are a delightful way to spend a relaxing evening after work. The Café will be open and serving a variety of sandwiches and beverages or if you’d rather, bring a picnic. The concerts are held outside so be sure to bring a blanket or chairs. In case of rain follow the signs to the pavilion. Concerts are free.
