Frontier Announces Promotion of Allen Amorando to Local Manager for Southbury

Frontier Communications today announced the promotion of longtime employee Allen Amorando to Local Manager for the company’s Northwest Connecticut Region.

Amorando will be responsible for workforce relations, local operations and execution of Frontier’s local sales strategy. He will serve Frontier’s Northwest Region which includes Greater Danbury, Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills.

“Allen’s energy, knowledge and “can do” attitude is having a positive impact on our daily operations. His keen focus on sales and customer service is exactly what we need,” said Cindy Walker, Northwest Area General Manager for Frontier.

Amorando began his career at Frontier in 2000, initially serving as a Residential Technician. Throughout his 16 years with the company, Amorando has also served as a Service Representative, Business Technician and most recently, as a Technical Supervisor in Fairfield.

Senior Vice President and General Manager for Connecticut Paul Quick added, “Allen has proven he can lead with excellence and execute on all aspects of operations, sales and customer service. I am confident in Allen’s ability to continue providing great service to our customers in Northwestern Connecticut.”

Amorando is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and is engaged in the community as a volunteer for the Sandy Hook 5K and several local Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walks.
