Fun October Programs in the Children's Library Department in Southbury
The Southbury Public Library has a ton of fun programs for children in October.

October will be a busy month in the Children’s Department of the Southbury Public Library!
The following programs are scheduled to take place:
Fall storytimes will begin with Babies & Books for ages 12-24 months Tues., October 21stth at 10:30, Stories & Crafts for 3-5 yrs. old will begin Weds., Oct. 22nd at 10:30, and Stories & More for 2 yrs. old will begin Fri., Oct. 24th at 10:30. All storytimes include stories, songs and crafts.

Booktalks for the month are KinderClub for kindergartners on Monday Oct. 20th at 4:15, Page Turners for grades 1 & 2 on Weds, Oct. 22 at 4:14, Snacks and Stories for girls in grades 4 and up on Thursday Oct. 2nd at 4:15 and Pizza and Pages Middle School book club on Wed., Oct. 1st at 4:00pm.
Wii Have Fun for grades 1-4 will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 4:15 and Lego to the Library for grades 2-5 will take place on Fri., Oct 10th at 4:15.

The Lunch Bunch indoor picnic and movie will be viewing preschool Halloween tales on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 12:00 and the Movies & Munchies monthly film will be the new feature film based on the cartoon of Mr. Sherman and Peabody. This will be shown on Friday, Oct. 24th at 6:00pm.
Registration may be done on the phone at (203) 262-0626 ext. 3 or by stopping in the Children’s Department for all these programs.
Storytimes that have no registration are also held every week. On Mondays at 10:30, the Library offers a Drop In Storytime & Crafts for all ages and each Thursday a PJ Stories and Crafts program takes place at 6:00pm.
