One of the easiest ways to feel fuller longer, more energized, and improve your skin is to simply drink water! Here are a few ideas to sneak more H2O into your family's day.
1. Wake up with water! While you get yourself and your family ready in the morning, try hot water with lemon. This will help you wake up and feel less hungry through out the day.
2. Remember your water bottle! Make sure you have a water bottle to bring to work and that your kids have one for school! Having lots of water with you will help you remember to drink it. Water bottles are an essential supply during the summer at YMCA Camp Oakasha!
3. Eat your water! This may sound strange, but eating soup, fruits, and vegetables will help you stay hydrated.
4. Make rules. If you drink coffee, soda, or juice throughout the day, make sure that you set rules to have water in between the other beverages. Make sure to always have at least 8 ounces of water with your meal to help you feel more full.
5. Flavor it up! Add frozen fruit, cucumber slices, mint leaves, or a little bit of juice to make it a little more interesting. Make it fun, the kids can help too!
