Heritage Village Water Co. to be Sold, Financial Terms Detailed: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT - The Heritage Village Water Co. currently serves some residents in Southbury, Middlebury and Oxford and soon the company will be purchased by Connecticut Water Service, Inc. reports the Republican-American.

The price tag is $20.6 million and still requires both shareholder and regulatory approval, the Rep-Am reports. Connecticut Water Service, Inc. will absorb Heritage Village Water Co.’s $4.5 million debt.

Connecticut Water Service officials told the Rep-Am that that the current employees of the Heritage Village Water Co. will join their company and no change in service is expected.
