Home Values Soar In Southbury: Report
While home values skyrocketed, commercial property values dipped, according to the Republican-American.
SOUTHBURY, CT — Revaluation has had a major impact on property values in Southbury
The Republican-American reports that home values jumped by 34 percent to $331,000 when compared to five years ago. At Heritage Village, home values skyrocketed by 87 percent on average. The value of commercial properties in town dipped by 4 percent.
It's still unclear what impact revaluation will have on taxpayers. The town's current tax rate is 28.6 mills.
