How To Make A Pumpkin Martini

A fall favorite recipe from Premier Wine & Spirits in Southbury, perfect for Halloween parties.

A good Halloween party is about the boos and the booze. Treat your guests — and yourself — to a Pumpkin Martini this weekend. This recipe is simple and sweet.

How to Make a Pumpkin Martini

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka (I used marshmallow flavored vodka by Pinnacle)
  • 3 ounces pumpkin pie cream liqueur (such as Pennsylvania Dutch) + more to rim glass
  • Pumpkin pie spice (for garnish)
  • Cinnamon sticks (for garnish) or colored jimmies, sprinkles, or decorator sugar to rim the glass

  1. Pour some of the pumpkin pie cream liqueur into a dish. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the liqueur, then immediately roll the rim in colored jimmies, sprinkles or decorating sugar. Set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the 1 1/2 ounces of vodka and 3 ounces of pumpkin pie cream liqueur. Shake to chill and blend, then strain cocktail into the glass.
  3. Sprinkle drink with pumpkin pie spice and add a stick of cinnamon as a stir stick.

SUBSTITUTE: If you cant find pumpkin pie cream liqueur, substitute 1 1/2 ounces of pumpkin liqueur (such as Hiram Walker) + 1 1/2 ounces of Irish cream (such as Baileys).
