ID Released Of Person Found Dead In Southbury Home: State Police

The victim was found on March 22 at a home on Ridgeview Road, according to authorities.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A 37-year-old Southbury man has been identified as the person who died in a home on Ridgeview Road on March 22, according to state police.

Thomas Lazor was described in his obituary from Brookside Memorial Funeral Home as a "skilled auto mechanic" and former security guard. He attended Gainfield Grammar School, Memorial Middle School, and Pomperaug High School.

A cause of death has not been revealed.

"At this time there does not appear to be a criminal aspect to the death," a state police spokesperson wrote in an email to Patch. "The investigation remains active."

Calling hours for Lazor will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, on Benson Road in Middlebury. Burial will be private.
