Neighbor News

It’s Not Too Late!

Still time for last minute gifting to help our neighbors.

In Southbury, 145 children and counting, are waiting for generous neighbors to help Santa fill their stockings with warmth and joy this Christmas. It’s not too late for residents and groups to help Southbury Needy Fund provide warm winter clothing, school supplies, and toys to everyone on our list.

To give clothing, call Sharon Leiber at (203) 264-8743.

Amazon and Target are partnering with us to deliver toys. Check our webpage http://southburyneedyfund.org/toy-drive/ for details on how to make a gift.

No time to shop? No worries! Monetary donations go that extra mile to fill in gift gaps and help us meet emergency needs year round, like utility shut-offs, unexpected medical bills, and urgent repairs, as well as tuition / fee assistance for school trips, sports teams, and other necessary items. Please send checks to Southbury Needy Fund, PO Box 72, Southbury, CT 06488.

Prefer to donate your time? We are working hard to sort and bag each family's gifts. Come join us, Monday through Saturday, 1:00pm to 3:30pm, now until Thursday, December 14. Extra evening hours every Wednesday, 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Location is 316 Main Street South, Southbury, CT 06488, formerly the Ladybug Cake and Candy Store.
