Jennifer Hubbard To Speak At Southbury Faith Event

SOUTHBURY, CT — Author Jennifer Hubbard will share her message about how faith helped her through the loss of her daughter at Sandy Hook Elementary School at a special event in Southbury.

The event is scheduled for Dec. 18 at the United Church of Christ in Southbury at 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be available after the event. Hubbard will also sign copies of her book, "Finding Sanctuary: How the Wild Work of Peace Restored the Heart of a Sandy Hook Mother.” Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.

Hubbard is the president and executive director of the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary, which was founded in memory of her daughter, who died at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
