Kids Can Play Golf For $5 At Southbury Course, Other CT Locations

Free memberships are available for youth ages 6 to 18, with discounted rounds at local courses.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Kids in Southern Connecticut can play rounds of golf for $5 or less through a program returning this year.

The “Golf with Us” initiative, launched in 2025, is offering free one-year memberships to youth ages 6 to 18, with enrollment open through June 15.

The program includes access to discounted rounds at participating courses, including Gainfield Farms Golf Course in Southbury.

Participants can also play at Crestbrook Park Golf Course in Watertown.

New this year, the program includes $5 indoor golf simulator rentals and a free lesson from a PGA professional at Golf Galaxy locations in Milford and Norwalk.

The initiative is part of a partnership between Bank of America and Youth on Course aimed at expanding access to golf.

Last year, the program reached nearly 100,000 young people nationwide, including many first-time players.
