Man Arrested On Drug, Gun Charges In Southbury: Police
A man was found with an illegal, loaded gun and over 100 grams of cocaine Tuesday, according to police.
SOUTHBURY, CT — A man was arrested on weapons and drug charges in Southbury on Tuesday. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street North near the intersection of Old Waterbury Road at 7:27 p.m.
A brief investigation found the driver, Keith Gordon, 35, to be in possession of an illegal, loaded gun, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash, according to police. The total amount of suspected crack cocaine / cocaine combined was over 100 grams.
Gordon was taken into custody and charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, use of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory, possession of a controlled substance, failure to display marker plates, and operating a motor vehicle while license is suspended.

He was released on a $15,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 10.
