In the millions last year alone.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Overtime expenditures at the Southbury Training School exceeded $12 million in 2016, an amount that continues to raise questions among parents and state officials, reports the Hartford Courant.

The school serves students with disabilities and employs 615 people in various full-time and part-time positions, according to the publication.

Overtime for at least five employees exceeded $100,000 or more than double their base salaries, which critics say is exceedingly high.
