“21st century learner expectations are designed to prepare students to meet the opportunities and challenges of today and the future. We are looking forward to sharing our students’ work and to sharing how the Region has purposefully integrated these skills in to our classrooms,” said Dr. Carrie Chiappetta, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.

The Region 15 Board of Education adopted the following long-term district goal statement in September, 2015: “Students will demonstrate the Region 15 learner expectations of collaboration, critical thinking, communication, innovation, global citizenship and character.” These 21st century skills build on Regional School District 15’s long-standing commitment to high-quality education, and are designed to prepare students for the increasingly technological world in which they live and into which they will graduate.
