No Injuries After School Bus Rear-Ended in Southbury Thursday: Report

A total of 22 students were on board the bus at the time of the accident.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A school bus transporting 22 students was rear-ended Thursday morning around 8 a.m. on Main Street South but no one was injured, the Republican-American reports.

The bus was stopped at a red light when it was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Kenneth J. Dwyer Jr., 28, of Southbury, the Rep-Am reports. Dwyer was cited for the accident and other motor vehicle violations, the Rep-Am reports.
