Obituary: ​Annabelle Jedlinsky, 93, of Southbury

Annabelle moved to Southbury, CT in 2008, where she was a member of the South Britain Congregational Church and the Women's Fellowship.

Annabelle Jedlinsky, 93, died at the Lutheran Home of Southbury on August 25. She was born at home in Marion, Ohio on October 12, 1923, the daughter of Marion Earl and Mary Elizabeth (Ronk) Humes. She was the widow of Richard J. Jedlinsky.

A graduate of West Technical High School in Cleveland, Annabelle was employed at the White Motor Company in Cleveland and later at the Geauga Lumber Company and Chicago Title Insurance Company both in Chardon, OH. In 1980 Annabelle and Richard retired from Ohio to Hudson, Florida where they lived for 28 years.

She leaves two daughters Cheryl Fuller of Hilliard, OH and Linda Speck of Eastlake, OH, two sons Richard Jedlinsky (Sharon) of Mentor, OH and Dennis Jedlinsky (Lainie) of Southbury, CT. Annabelle leaves 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand child along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Annabelle was predeceased by her sisters, Lois Eileen Wolbert, Dolores Pawlowski, Rose Ellen Rowand, Patricia Hertzing and her brother Richard Humes.

Annabelle moved to Southbury, CT in 2008, where she was a member of the South Britain Congregational Church and the Women’s Fellowship. She was an active and important member of the Sunday Office group for many years.

She loved having visits from her grandchildren and enjoyed her game shows, crossword puzzles and card games as well as being an avid crafter in her earlier years.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at South Britain Congregational Church on September 9 at 11:00 am. A family graveside service will be held at the Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, OH at a later date.
