Southbury – Anthony “ Tony” P. Borrelli M.D., 82, died Wednesday, July 26th in Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Elaine (Graves) Borrelli. Tony was born November 6, 1934, in New Rochelle, NY, a son of the late Antonio and Vittoria Borrelli. We who love Tony grieve over our loss but celebrate his gain. As a man led by his faith in God, he served as a Doctor of Obstetrics & Gynecology for nearly 20 years. Then recognizing a calling of faith, he became a Doctor of Psychiatry and established a Christian Counseling Center.
During his retirement, he worked with the Oratory of the Little Way, a Christian Retreat Center in Gaylordsville, CT where he concentrated on helping others to live a healthy Christian spiritual life. Besides his devoted wife of 55 years, he leaves his three children, Karen Tremblay and her husband, Michael, and Allison Hughes and her husband, Joe, all of Boynton Beach, FL, and Anthony Borrelli and his wife, Pam, of Natick, MA; his sister, Millie Borrelli of New Rochelle, NY, his brothers, Jerry Borrelli of Stony Brook, LI, NY, and Joe Borrelli of Flemington, NJ; and 7 beloved grandchildren.

He was pre-deceased by his sisters Rose Borrelli and Anna Scoca. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Aug. 5th at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury. Calling hours: Saturday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the chapel of the church. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be given to the Oratory of the Little Way (oratory-ofthelittleway.squarespace.com).
