Obituary: Aristedes Zagorianos, 93, of Heritage Village

Southbury – Aristedes Zagorianos, 93, of Heritage Village, died Saturday, June 30th at his home. He was the husband of Phoebe (Meringolo) Zagorianos.

Ari was born July 4, 1924 in Athens, Greece, son of the late Evstathios and Ekaterina Zagorianos. He was involved with computer development at the beginning of the computer evolution, and retired from RCA Global after 25 years.

He enjoyed golf, computers and building and flying radio controlled airplanes. Formerly of Spring Lake Heights, NJ, he and his wife moved to Heritage Village 15 years ago.

Besides his loving wife of 42 years, he leaves his nephew, Malcolm Biffin of Guilford, England, and his niece, Kathleen Calisto of London, England.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 21st at 5:30 p.m. in Christ the Savior Orthodox Church, 1070 Roxbury Road, Southbury. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
