Obituary: Armand F. Grasso, 69, of Southbury

Southbury - Armand F. Grasso, 69, passed away from cancer on Nov. 9th at Waterbury Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Loretta Lennon Grasso. Armand was born Sept. 15, 1947, in Waterbury, son of the late Armand J. Grasso and Nan Gilson Grasso. He attended local schools and graduated from Sacred Heart University.

He taught school in Fairfield and called his home Southbury in 1976. He loved the outdoors, animals and wildlife, and enjoyed working at Heritage Village Golf Course.

He also loved fishing and the NY Giants. He was called the best dad on the block by his children and all of their friends. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Erin and Bryan of Southbury and Derek of Florida; his grandchildren, Laura, Sean and Jase; his sister, Michelle Tuttle and her husband, David, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
