Charles D. Rasmussen, age 79, of Heritage Village, Southbury, CT., passed away peacefully Thursday December 13th, 2018. Born in the Bronx, NY. December 27th, 1938, to Charles and Pilar (Vera) Rasmussen. He was a well-educated, self-employed entrepreneur. He was a devoted family man who loved to travel. He put a smile on everyone’s face. Time with family and friends was what he valued the most.
He is survived by his loving wife Frances of 58 years, his three sons Richard, David, & Glenn, his four granddaughters Lindsey, Alyssa, Giana, Jocelyn. He also leaves his sister Nola Miller and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday December 17, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St North, Southbury, CT 06488. Burial will be private following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Living Resources, 300 Washington Ave Ext., Albany, NY. 12203 in Charles memory would be greatly appreciated.
