Christel R. Bailey, 71, of Southbury CT., passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday March 14, 2017. She has been a resident of Southbury for over 50 years. She was born on May 25, 1945 in Germany.

She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Bailey who died in 1993. She is survived by her son Tom Bailey and daughter Sindy Bailey, 5 grandchildren including Dennis, Ronald, Brandon, Katie and Luis, and her brother Ed. She graduated from Stone Academy with a degree in bookkeeping and accounting. She loved her job and worked for the same people for over 35 years.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday March 20, 2017 at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St N., Southbury from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 1:30 P.M.
