Obituary: Donald C. Lewis, 82, of Southbury

Donald C. Lewis, 82, of Southbury, died on Monday, July 9, 2012, at . He was married to the late Eileen Jean (Donovan) Lewis for 53 years.

Lewis was born on June 16, 1930 in Lowell, Mass., son of the late Charles S. Lewis and Marietta (Cullen) Lewis. He held senior management positions with Monsanto, Consupak, Apollo Technologies and Uniroyal.

During his working years, he lived in several locations including Milwaukee, Wis.; New Canaan, Conn.; St. Louis, Mo.; Middlebury, Conn.; and Granger, Ind.

In retirement, he and his wife Jean enjoyed many years in Nokomis, Fla.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen C. Lewis and his wife, Jayne, of Mount Olive, N.J., and Michael E. Lewis and his wife, Beth, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a daughter, Patricia L. Huntley and her husband, Raymond Jr., of Southbury, Conn.; and three grandchildren, J.T. Huntley of Southbury, and Max and Kristen Schanze of Jacksonville, Fla.

Funeral Mass: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at Sacred Heart Church.

Burial: Following in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.
