Florence G. Abamonte, 93, died peacefully June 29, 2018 at River Glen Health Center. Mrs. Abamonte was born June 14, 1925, in New York City, daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (Redina) Cardone. Before moving to Southbury, she lived in Smithfield Gardens in Seymour, CT.

She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Andrew Abamonte, of Southbury and is survived by her niece, Marilyn Stokes and godson and nephew Dennis O'Connell, plus many great nieces and nephews.
