Obituary: Frances "Marilyn" Fox, of Southbury

Marilyn was best known for her beautiful spring gardens in Heritage Village which boasted thousands of daffodils and tulips.

SOUTHBURY - Frances "Marilyn" Fox was born in Queens, New York City on Groundhogs Day, February 2, 1929. She passed on December 11, 2018. After graduating from William Smith College, she worked at Chase Bank in NYC.

She moved to Southbury in the 1970's and worked for the US Post Office. Marilyn was best known for her beautiful spring gardens in Heritage Village which boasted thousands of daffodils and tulips.

She leaves behind her brother John Green, his wife Karen of Avon and their children, Scott, Susan, and Todd Green and their grandchildren: Christie Foster, Sheldon, Janessa, Johnathan and Amelia Green.

Funeral Services will be held on December 19, 2018 at The Church of the Epiphany at 262 Main St N, Southbury, CT 06488. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Southbury, CT.
