Gloria was a great Italian cook, loved to bake, play cards, bingo and was an avid golfer in her younger years.

Gloria M. Maduri, 86, of Heritage Village in Southbury passed away peacefully on May 23, 2018. Gloria was born on May 17, 1932 in Greenwich to the late George and Maria Antoinnette Capoccia. She met the love of her life, Paul, and they married on February 16, 1952.
Gloria was a great Italian cook, loved to bake, play cards, bingo and was an avid golfer in her younger years.
Gloria's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband Paul, their children, Paul Maduri, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Farmington, NY; Darlene Sekel and her husband Tom of Cary, NC; and Kenneth Maduri and his wife Michelle of Oxford, CT.

She was known as "Granny" to her adored and beloved grandchildren Allison Pia, Patrick Sekel, Kelly Maduri, Jenna Maduri, Matt Sekel, Erin Sekel and her husband Blair and Adam Sekel and his wife Lauren. She was predeceased by her sister Angelina Purdy and is survived by her brother, Jerome Capoccia and his wife Marilyn and sister Rosina Martere and her husband Joe and several nieces and nephews.
