Jack Milkes passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 9, 2016 at age 92. Jack was born in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, NY on July 18, 1924 to Ida and Joseph Milkes.
Jack served honorably in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a Court Reporter all his life, spending much of his career with the New York State Supreme Court.

He enjoyed playing golf and chess, shooting pool, reading, stock market investing and the company of his good friends. Jack possessed a keen intellectual curiosity and a delightful sense of humor. He was a loving husband and a proud father and grandfather. There was little that Jack loved more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sandra, sons Robert and Jay, and daughter Elizabeth Komosinski (Joseph), grandchildren Matthew Komosinski (Danielle), Michael Komosinski, Sophie Milkes and Jeremy Milkes.
