John J. “Jack” Fitzpatrick, 93, died Sunday, August 7th, at the Lutheran Home in Southbury. Jack was born July 31, 1923, in Bridgeport, son of the late John and Ruth (Leach) Fitzpatrick.

He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, Seaman 1st class, serving aboard the USS Alabama on the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. He owned his own limousine service and was a highly regarded driver by a select number of celebrity clients.

He leaves his son, James Fitzpatrick of Danbury and brother, Robert Ahlberg, of Southbury. Private burial is in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
