Kurstin d. Berghauser, 52, passed away suddenly on October 13 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Kurstin was born on August 13, 1965 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Lake) Berghauser.
Kurstin graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1984, went on to Mattatuck Community College and then graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, NYC with a degree in Mortuary Science. She loved her job as a Funeral Director and took pride in her accomplishments.

She is survived by both her parents, her two sons Dylan and Gabriele Fidalgo, both of Prospect, and her brother Eric Berghauser of TN.
Kurstin had an amazing heart, her love was felt by so many and she will be greatly missed. She loved to show her Sign Language skills and also enjoyed to sing any chance she had.

Services will be held at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St. Woodbury, CT 06798, on Tuesday, October 17 from 4-6 PM with a service at 6:00. Burial will be Wednesday, October 18 at 10:00 AM, Prospect Cemetery, 1 Union City Rd. Prospect, CT 06712.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made The Special Olympics, 2666 State Street Suite 1, Hamden CT 06517, a cause she found dear to her heart.
