Obituary: Larry Rowland, 62, of Southbury

Southbury – Larry Rowland, 62, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 14th. He was the husband of Virginia Sullivan. Larry was born May 7, 1954, a son of the late William and Alice (Coer) Rowland. He owned and operated Larry’s Roofing and Siding for many years.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved animals. He was also a kind, loyal friend and was known for his “Larry Burgers”. Besides his wife, Ginny, he leaves his three children, Shannon, Jason and Danielle, his sisters, Marietta Verrill and Donna Smith; and many grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, David and John. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 21st from 12 to 2 p.m. at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
