SOUTHBURY- Leslie A. Budris, 58, of Southbury, passes away on Sunday June 4, 2107 at her home. Leslie was born March 6, 1959 in Derby, daughter of Phyllis (Bice) Budris of Oxford and the late Charles Budris. She was a graduate of Nonnewaug High School. Leslie has resided in Southbury for the past two years, previously living in Oxford.
She worked as a machinist for 22 years, having worked at the Farrel Company for 10 years and also the Torrington Company. Also, she was employed at Woodbury Farm at the garden center and at Shaws in Southbury. Leslie enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, camping and had a passionate love to garden and liked to cook. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Oxford.

Besides her mother, she leaves three brothers, Charles G. Budris of Woodbury, Dr. Timothy Budris of Cheshire and Thomas Budris of Oxford, two sisters, Lynne Koehler of Southbury and Lorie Verrastro of Seymour. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and a grand nephew.
Services will be and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 421 Oxford Rd. Oxford, CT 06478 or to Middlebury Animals for Life, 1098 Straits Turnpike Middlebury CT, 06762. The Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North is in charge of arrangements.
