Obituary: Linda B. Mansfield, 66, of Southbury

SOUTHBURY - Linda B. Mansfield, 66, is at peace having departed this life on May 3, 2019 at her home. She was born in Steubenville, OH on March 18, 1953 to Leanne (Freas) Trout and the late David Trout.

Following a successful career as a product manager with the telephone company, Linda retired to attend to her beautiful gardens. She was an avid supporter of animal welfare groups, particularly those involved with animal rescues.

In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by her beloved son, Christopher Mansfield of MA,sister Dee Ledgerwood of PA and sister-at-heart Gail Bansak of West Redding. Linda was pre-deceased by her sister Andrea Herget.

A celebration of her life will be held later. There are no calling hours. Donations in memory of Linda may be sent to Animals For Life, P.O. Box 1481, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
