Obituary: Margaret “Peggy” Patricia Warner, 79, of Southbury

Southbury - Margaret “Peggy” Patricia Warner, 79, died Wed. November 22, 2017 while under the care of the Regional Hospice of Danbury at the Watermark at East Hill in Southbury. She was the wife of the late James C. Warner.
Peggy was born August 3, 1938 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Louis and Olive (Bryant) Sabot. She worked as a bookkeeper and hairdresser for Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home for more than 25 years. Formerly long-time Woodbury residents, she and her husband moved to Ocala, FL in 2005. She returned to Southbury to be near her family.

She was a member of the Woodbury Woman’s Club, The Red Hat Society, Hands Across America and Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved crafts, swimming, all animals, especially horses, and the outdoors. She and Jim enjoyed travelling in their RV as often as possible.
Peggy lived her life to the fullest. She was always quick to smile and find joy in her life. She leaves her loving children: James P. Warner and wife, Lori, of Exline, Iowa, Patricia J. Sandulli and husband, Daniel, of Thomaston, a daughter in law Stefanie Warner of Middlebury, and Brian K. Warner and wife, Margaret, of Woodbury; five grandchildren, Keri and Matthew Sandulli, Travis Warner, and Gregory and Nicholas Warner; and one great-granddaughter Hailey. She was pre-deceased by her son, William J. Warner, her daughter, Barbara A. Warner and her sister, Sally Waibel. Donations in Peggy’s name can be made to Regional Hospice of Danbury.
